Lucinda Hodges -- Godspeed Dan -- you are much loved and greatly missed.
For Dan and his love of the wild -- "Wilderness is not only a haven for native plants and animals but it is also a refuge from society. Its a place to go to hear the wind and little else, see the stars and the galaxies, smell the pine trees, feel the cold water, touch the sky and the ground at the same time, listen to coyotes, eat the fresh snow, walk across the desert sands, and realize why its good to go outside of the city and the suburbs". hello all, my name is Shannon North. Dan and I dated for a couple years - he wasn't just my boyfriend at the time, he truly was my best friend too. He taught me alot about life and how to have smile. Even though we didn't work out, he was always there for me. We shared so many beautiful memories together. He was someone who I always knew loved me no matter what I looked like, or how cranky i was that day - he took me for me. He was one person who knew me completely. I will always have him with me now....I can feel him around me. I do believe he is a angel that will watch over us all. I do have some beautiful pictures of Dan... if anyone would like some copies please let me know. My email address is shannonnorth@gmail.com. I wish Peace & Love to all. ~Shannon *We love you Dan*
May the Creator grant Daniel's family many good and loving memories of him and comfort you in the times you are down. Mick Mulholland
This is an absolutely beautiful tribute to a young man who left us way too young. Thanks for sharing this website with us. Our sincere sympathy is extended to all who knew and loved this young man. M. McGrath, Harmonsburg, Pa.
Your tribute is awe inspiring...to be so loved renders such loss when gone but, his energy will survive and encompass all his loved ones. May you all find peace in his cradeling. Kym Sgt., Trinity, Al (formerly from Meadville)
I found your website amazingly interesting and enjoyable. You must be proud. My sincere condolences in your loss of a fine son. Robert E. Hilgendorf Low Gap, NC
hey dan, your gardens doing great. miss ya man
Dan, walk among the stars and keep reaching for those rainbows. We count on you now for all of these things. The true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints of morning or evening. It is a little star dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched. ~Henry David Thoreau, Walden

Dan was special in our hearts. His ability to bring sunshine on a
dismal day, his mop of a hair do, his helping hands will always hold
a spot in our hearts and bring a smile to us. We will miss
him......with love and friendship....Bob and Renee deMontigny
